Black soap body wash

A silky, pourable body wash built around Ghana black soap, West Africa's most beloved cleanser, softened with oils, honey, and botanicals so it's gentle enough for everyday skin. It lathers richly, rinses clean, and leaves skin soft instead of stripped. The scent is grounding and quiet: tea tree, vanilla, frankincense, patchouli, and rosemary, balanced so nothing shouts. The ingredients

1. Ghana black soap - Hand-prepared in the West African tradition from plantain skins, cocoa pods, and palm kernel oil. Deeply cleansing, gentle on the skin barrier, and older than the category itself. 
2. Olive oil - nourishing and softening. A classic cleansing oil for a reason.
3. Sweet almond oil - light, silky, and softening on the skin. 
4. Sunflower oil - rich in vitamin E. Nourishes without heaviness. 
5. Honey - a natural humectant. Draws moisture into the skin while you cleanse. 
6. Vegetable glycerin - plant-derived humectant. Keeps skin hydrated through the wash. 
7. Vitamin E - an antioxidant that supports the skin barrier and helps the formula stay fresh. 
8. Essential oils - tea tree, frankincense, vanilla, patchouli, and rosemary. A soft, earthy scent, used at skin-safe levels. 

The formulation

1. Decyl glucoside - a gentle, plant-derived cleanser made from coconut and corn. Works alongside the black soap for a soft, low-foam lather that's kind to sensitive skin. 
2. Sunflower lecithin - a plant-based emulsifier that helps the oils and water-based ingredients blend into one silky formula. 
3. Xanthan gum - a natural thickener that gives the body wash its smooth, pourable body. 
4. Citric acid - a small amount to balance the formula's pH and keep it skin-friendly. Geogard ECT is an Ecocert-approved, naturally-derived preservative blend that keeps the formula fresh and safe without parabens or harsh synthetics.

How to use 

Wet skin in a warm shower. Dispense a small amount into your palms or onto a soft cloth, and lather gently across the body in slow circles, no scrubbing. Leave on for a few seconds to let the black soap do its work, then rinse clean. Follow with your Body Oil while skin is still damp, and Body Butter on the spots that need extra care. 

Care: Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
